Cool Course Dispatch: Introduction to Judaism

"Introduction to Judaism" addresses the questions of "what do Jews believe?" and "what do Jews do?" The course introduces students to the Jewish people's historical narrative and the beliefs and practices of the Jewish religion. In one recent class session, students attended a virtual tour of the Lower East Side focused on the connections between love, matchmaking, and the synagogue on Eldridge Street.
