i had a sinus cold at the beginning of january this year for about a week which had left i dealt with it for 5 days with the worst moments being at night when i was trying to sleep. I saw my doctor yesterday and she recommended this video.
that evening i layed down and turned my head both to the right and to the left and found that it was only when i turned my head to the right that the spinning began, so i followed the movements to treat my right ear only.
my first go was rough and i did have to throw up after.
i found that the first movement of tilting the head back definitely got the spinning started. I waited until it calmed down before tucking my head to the floor. I don' t know if it' s critical, but when i first tried this, i had turned my head too far (almost completely to the right. 90 degrees) but one of my later tries after realising i was doing it incorrectly i stuck to the 45 degree angle.
i had no issues with dizziness or spinning while my head was tucked to the floor, however when i brought it up to hold my head and back parallel to the floor that is when the world spun a lot. It did slow down and stop. This was consistent with every time i tried it and i did feel dreadful and nauseous from this point on each time.
i will also say that on my final try, i also held each pose for 30-60 seconds (not 15-30)
the last movement where i kept my head at 45 degrees and sat upright never involved any spinning, however i always held that position for 30-60 seconds as well.
this morning, i will say that the region around my right ear has been aching and is currently still aching a bit. It' s not terrible or unbearable, however around 11: 00am i noticed that i hadn' t been having any dizzy spells. I was extremely curious, so i locked myself in my office at work and went through all of the movements (ridiculous i know) to test where i was at and i had no spinning or dizziness. So! from my computer desk everything started spinning. Then my stomach reacting to it making me nauseous.
