@JamalGetRight9 months ago2 weeks ago I was 520lbs. Size 72 pants. Had to have everything delivered because I couldn’t walk more than 5 minutes without my back seizing up.. 2 weeks later I’m already down 40lbs. All due to Carnivore eating and fasting. Any mainstream doctor who calls recommends supplements to loose weight, and calls fasting a ‘fad’ or ‘conspiracy’ is lieing to you. Keep up the great content Thomas. @ricci-archibald9 months agoWait, I'm confused about the Carnitine. Your mediterranean meal plan suggests to take L_carnitine ! Why did you suggest taking carnitine ? You assumed that we are deficient in Carnitine or that we exercise so that it "could" work ? Really i'm confused i started to take L-carnitine now i learn something else. Why did you suggest taking carnitine ? ...3

@MiguePizar9 months agoI do take a thermogenic everyday, but not because I believe it will help me with fat lost, I only take it because it has slow released caffeine in it, so I only take the 2 pills in the morning and I have caffeine effect for most of the day, but fat burners 99% if don't do much more than giving some energy due the caffeine in it. The only fat burner that might be the real deal, but at the same time is a nightmare and you need like a prescription or something , and don't recommended, would be like CLEN, oh and maybe the legendary ECA, Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin, which by the way I don't recommend it either due to the ephedrine and its side effects, but these 2 are the real thing in terms of losing fat and or making you crazy. @Philusteen9 months agoThomas, could you possibly look into creatine and how it impacts fat loss / autophagy when fasting? I read an article the other day that showed that creatine certainly spared muscle wasting, but that it also inhibited the browning of white adipose tissue, and thus was protecting fat (its a study on mice). Seems like a topic folks would be interested in. ...5

@rogere55859 months agoGreat video as always. Started taking creatine after more than a year of working out. My belly has always been a problem area. I started taking creatine and I felt strong, muscles felt full. Only problem I noticed that there was a dramatic increase in the size of my belly. I felt I had been making progress now it was hanging out over my pants. My diet, sleep, stress levels, and workout had only improved. Creatine is the only thing that changed. Can’t recommend creatine if you have a lot of belly fat. ...4

@CarbageMan9 months agoMy doctor talked me into carnitine for bulking. I'm not sure it made any difference, but I've been eating a lot of meat, so I'm probably not deficient. Ironically, I got creatine instead (accidentally.) I had an observable improvement in my workout. The improvement may have been so marked that I have to be careful not to outwork my connective tissue, which seems to trail muscle strength. I read about it and yeah, it can do that. FWIW, the other supplements that made an immediate marked difference were caffeine (duh) and magnesium. ...9

@creativetraininghacks9 months ago "Taking a little carnitine surrounding your workout period when you would deplete it, could help stimulate a little bit more fatty acid oxidation" – well, when I'm training while my metabolism is in ketosis, and I've taken L-carnitine beforehand, my keto sticks afterwards usually test darker than without having taken l-carnitine. I guess that could also be a hint that it works a little. ...1

@nick18229 months agoWhen I was experimenting with different weight loss nutrients/minerals/supplements almost 10 years ago I noticed when I took chromium picolinate after a carb heavy meal or pure junk food meal I would not have as much bloating and felt a lot better than if I didn’t take it. But in terms of weight loss, no I don’t think it helped me lose any weight. In my opinion I would find it more harmful over a long period of use if you’re trying to diet because it could give the false hope that you can have more cheat days since you can take this and not feel sick or bloated afterwards but you’re still ruining your progress and more than likely gaining weight. ...
