3 PINTEREST INSPIRED PAINTINGS | Watercolour Ideas for When You're Bored

In this video 3 Pinterest inspired paintings that you can try out for when you're bored. I try out three different aesthetic abstract watercolour paintings in this video, all inspired by Pinterest. I use watercolour paints in each of these paintings, and use layering and wet in wet techniques to create my pieces. The first painting is an abstract piece, using blues and greens in organic shapes across the watercolour paper. Once my shapes have been added, and it's all dry I then add wavy lines across with a fine liner pen. The second Pinterest inspired painting is an abstract seascape, using pastel tones for the sky. I build the painting up using layers and the wet in wet method. The sky tones are reflected down onto the water surface. The last Pinterest inspired painting is created by using organic shapes. I painted circular shapes across the paper, in a variety of red tints and shades. The circles touch against one side and the colours bleed between the shapes. One the painting has dried, I add mark making and textures across the circles, using a white Jelly Roller Pen and a gold Posca pen.
