Ingredients -
1/2 cup Toor Dal (approx. 75 gram) (washed thrice and soaked in 1.5 cups water)
1/2 cup Masoor Dal (approx. 75 gram) (washed thrice and soaked in 1.5 cups water)
2 medium onions finely chopped
2 medium tomatoes finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 inch ginger piece (finely chopped)
1 tblsp Salt
1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 cups water
1 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
2 tblsps coriander leaves
Ingredients for Tadka -
2 tblsps oil
1 tblsp Cumin Seeds
1 tblsp Finley chopped garlic
2 dry Kashmiri red chillies
2 tblsps butter
1 pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Kasoori Methi
