How to Teach Your Guinea Pig to Jump (First Uncut Training Session)

This video is a recent uncut training session with Poppy. This was her very first training session with a real jump! She was a little unsure about the jump at first, but she was able to figure it out pretty quickly after the little bit of initial hesitation. She's such a smart girl! :) We did practice with a super low jump before this (which I would recommend doing if your guinea pig has never learned to jump). As you can see in the video, Poppy progressed really well, and I was even able to mostly fade out the lure in the same session! Most guinea pigs take more time to figure out a new trick, so remember to be patient and go at your piggy's pace. :) Younger, confident, and more agile guinea pigs tend to really love jumping and learn it much faster.
