For clarification, a samurai is a social class, and a shonobi AKA Ninja is a job, these two things aren’t in opposition to one another, you can have a samurai who’s also a ninja, and the honor Code thing isn’t entirely accurate, you can also have a samurai who stealthy kills his Victims, honor is more so that you win rather than by the means of which you do it.
