aadarshjdeep asked "Hey grandad can u make a solar powered boat". It gave me an excuse to buy a clockwork toy boat I have seen in the Bargain Stores several times. I quickly discovered it didn't float well so I had to severely modify it to get it to work. If you have a question it is probably worth reading this video description first because the answer may already be here. To help you find my videos I made two search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or checkout my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Main components - Bargain Store Toy Boat Solar Fluttering Dragonfly Bicycle Spoke Main Tools - Hot Glue Gun Drill Soldering Iron Filmed using FujiFilm FinePix S4800 Edited using Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition Toy Boats playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB24vUS9E8zkSgjZysEL00zr Solar Power playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB1SVLRn_D16dRvTrocMhFPq I have thousands of videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. To find them follow my search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or see my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan
