Alloy or Composite, which flat mountain bike pedals should you choose

Do you ride flat pedals? If so, are you a composite or alloy user? I personally ride the One up Alloy pedals on my 2021 Santa Cruz 5010 and also on my 2020 Santa Cruz Nomad.
