QR codes made mandatory in Queensland

Mandatory QR code check-ins have been extended to shopping centres, supermarkets, beauty salons, and venues hosting large crowds within Queensland. Sign-ins were only previously mandatory for the hospitality sector but now more than 77,000 businesses signed up for the app in the past two weeks with 32 million check-ins. Businesses have been warned there will be random compliance checks.
