New tech platform to be launched to speed up hospitalisation insurance claims

It will soon be easier for Singapore residents to file hospitalisation insurance claims. The government is working with the insurance and healthcare sectors to build a tech platform to speed up the processing of claims. Central bank chief Ravi Menon made the announcement at the Singapore FinTech Festival and Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology. The platform will pilot in 2021, and stakeholders are working on how patients' consented data can be shared securely.
