Clara's Official Website: www.welcometoclaraskitchen.com
Nana always substituted fish for other meats during lent and Good Friday.
This is one of the last videos we made to be included in her series. We lost the HD version for a long time, but recently found it on an old hard drive and reassembled it for you to watch here. That it timed up with Easter, it's either a coincidence or Clara sending a message from above, you can choose!

@tommysimmons52664 months agoI was born in 1960, my grandparents and parents would tell me about the history of America and the Great Depression era. My grandfather rode his bicycle to Southampton England and came to America on the sister ship to the Titanic. He became a coal miner for 39 years and then head butler for the Clark candy company in Pittsburgh and caretaker for a few other well known families in Pennsylvania. Stories they told and how they continued to live was like being in the Great Depression until he passed in 1986. He hated spending money. And I learned everything I could and still learning from videos like this… Never to old to learn and listen to your elders, regardless of how old I am… ...1
