I'm so glad I got this, as I don't know if these are getting withdrawn from service, or if they are actually staying. As with many older buses, including the B7TLs and Abellio's Dennis Darts, Orpington and Silvertown's Scania Omnicities were withdrawn from service during lockdown in April. SI's Scanias returned to service towards the end of June, however since then they have only appeared during the weekday, probably being used as extras to help with social distancing, so I don't know if these will stay when we fully return to normality, but I hope they do. As for the other buses withdrawn in April, Abellio's Darts and the VLA's have been fully withdrawn from service, with the Darts being used as driver training vehicles, and the VLA's being preserved. I don't know what is going to the WVL's, but I hope they come back, and 969 (YT58DYP), one of MB's Scanias, was seen yesterday in Bromley South being used as a ferry bus, so I hope those come back too! London bus route D7 is operated by Docklands Buses, a subsidiary of Go-Ahead London, operating out of Silvertown (SI) garage, allocated with Scania Omnicity CN230UB and Volvo B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 (WVL) buses, with Volvo B5LH Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC (EHV) from the 135 also making appearances on the route. I hope you are all safe and well. Travel restrictions have now been fully eased, meaning that transport bashing is allowed without any issues, however still remember to keep your distance, wear a face mask at all times, unless you have breathing problems, and apply hand sanitiser. Here you will find many transport videos on buses, including visuals, journeys, observations, and occasionally Ibus announcements and blind changes. I rarely do train videos, but I'll do them when I can. For now I am still avoiding rail travel, which includes the London Underground, Overground, DLR, Trams and National Rail, so I won't be doing any bashing in areas I cannot reach by bus alone, or have to take multiple buses to get there. I film multiple videos during the day, but only go out at least twice a week, so I upload quite frequently, so feel free to subscribe and give my videos a like if you're interested! Looking at the statistics, about 73% of my viewers aren't subscribed to my channel, lets make that percentage smaller! #fortheloveofbuses (C) GLB2K20
