East Jerusalem: Arrests as Israeli forces clash with Palestinian protesters near Damascus Gate

Tensions escalated when Israeli forces intervened to disperse the protest. At least three Palestinians were arrested and several injured, according to local reports. The graffiti was purportedly made during the 'Flag March' held by right-wing Jewish nationalists through East Jerusalem neighbourhoods. Thousands of Israeli participated in the 'Flag March' on Tuesday, where they marched to Damascus Gate to commemorate the capture of Jerusalem in the aftermath of the 1967 Six-Day War.
